Following on from our announcement about updated drivers for the Eleven Rack for Pro Tools, Avid have now updated their drivers for their Mbox 3, Mbox Mini (3rd Generation) and Mbox Pro (3rd Generation) interfaces and have included Windows 10 and Pro Tools 12 support.

Digidesign Mbox USB Driver Update v.1.0.1 For Pro Tools LE (Mac) v.5.2 & 5.2.1. Note: Neither the Pro Tools LE 5.2 CD that originally shipped with Mbox or the download of Pro Tools LE (Mac) v.5.2.1 available at www.DigiProNet.com include this updated USB Driver. This driver will be included with the next revision of Pro Tools LE v5.2.1 CDs included with retail Mbox packages.

• Quit all applications and connect your Mbox 2 to your computer. Download the file to the left named Mbox 2 Firmware Updater 1.38 for Mac OS X. Run the installer. This will install the updated drivers onto your computer, as well as place the Firmware Updater applica-tion on your desktop. Restart your computer. Note that the Mbox 2 LEDs will not.
• I'm using a Mac Pro with O/S 10.13.6. The device class setting in Audition is Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini. I tried updating the driver to the 10.3.9 (from 10/10/14), but the MBox stopped receiving power, so I reinstalled the older driver.
